Many parents are full of a sense of accomplishment when their children are accepted, and go off to fulfill their college education. They have every right to be happy that they raised a wonderful kid who excels to college level, but there is still more parenting that may need to be done.

College can be an extremely fun, and meaningful time in your kids life, but there are plenty of challenges they will face on a day to day basis. Some college students fall into the binge drinking trap because they start out doing it to be well liked and cheered on. Some college students will end up in this situation because they turn to the release and freedom that alcohol makes you feel, because of the pressure to perform well academically or physically.
