Celebrate Urban Birds Kit
You don’t have to be a scientist or environmentalist to enjoy watching birds. It may not seem like something for anyone to do, especially if you live in the city somewhere. In fact, Celebrate Urban Birds is trying to get those who do live in urban areas to become involved with watching and studying birds.
They are offering to send you two posters which will help you identify birds that you are likely to see in urban areas, a data sheet to report any of your findings, some flower seeds for you to plan, and complete instructions. You can take 10 minutes of your day relaxing, watching birds, and writing down your data. It is also a wonderful thing for a group of people to do whether it is a family venture, or something for the church youth group.
