Free Great Depression CD for 9-12 Grades
It is important for kids to understand and know about things that have happened in the past. When they are aware, hopefully they can see that what they do today can affect what will happen tomorrow… and maybe steer things in a better direction.
The Reserve Bank of St. Louis is offering a complimentary CD that entails the Great Depression between 1929 and 1939. All you have to do is request it from their website. This CD is not meant for young kids, but it is mostly appropriate for kids in the grades between ninth and 12th grade.
There are also workshops on the website, and a full PDF curriculum you can download or view to go along with your CD.
